Cinnamon Presents Cheques To Local Charities

Cinnamon restaurant presented cheques to the Aberdeen Cyrenians and the Shomi miah Memorial Foundation after its very successful charity event on the 18th of November 2013.
Depute Executive of the Aberdeen Cyrenians Scott baxter and the treasurer of the Shomi miah Memorial Foundation Jabir Miah were handed the cheques on Monday the 9th of December 2013 in the presence of Aberdeen's local MP Lewis McDonald And Director of Cinnamon @ Home Mr Anis Ahmed (MSc).

Since Cinnamon has open we have been continuously raising funds for SMMF, as well as teaming up with Meningitis Now in order to help them raise funds for their organisations as well. This year we have teamed up with the Aberdeen Cyrenians and aim to make our event even bigger and better!!

Cinnamon will be presented with the Best Restaurant in Northern Scotland award from the Cobra Good Curry Guide later this month.
To celebrate the achievement, Cinnamon is hosting a charity dinner and live entertainment in association with Aberdeen Cyrenians on November 18

THE winners in the inaugural Aberdeen’s Best Curry Awards were revealed during a spicy evening.
The event was sold out, with about 340 people packing out the Beach Ballroom after a two-month hunt for the North-east’s best curry places.
A total of eight awards were handed out on the night, including the Evening Express Readers’ Choice Award.

Known as the oscars of the curry industry the competition grets tougher each year with more and more new restaurants opening and entering, especialy within our locallity. This however gives us the urge to maintain our originality and stay one step ahead. Three cheers for cinnamon...!!
